Our HR team is divided into the following specialist areas:

Generalist Support
HR Business Partners act as representatives of HR, and are the first point of contact for their customers across the front-line businesses and in functions such as Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, HR, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Finance. They work in partnership with business leaders, contributing to the development of the business area's agenda and strategy.

Reward
The Reward Team focuses on providing and supporting compensation and benefits strategies that incentivise and recognise excellence in business and personal performance and allow us to attract and retain top talent.

Learning & Development and Talent
The Talent and Learning team aims to work strategically with the business and other facets of HR, to facilitate businesses to:

  • Attract, develop and motivate Top Talent
  • Measure Talent and monitor their progress
  • Highlight critical/key value roles
  • Align our best people to these roles (succession management and promotions)
  • Highlight and manage organisational gaps
  • Broaden diversity
  • Improve retention management

The team offers a wide range of development opportunities, such as Bespoke initiatives, Internal classroom training and E-learning.

Executive Services
Deals with all Executive compensation issues as well as negotiating offers and exit strategies at the most senior level.

Employee Relations
Employee Relations provides HR advice in relation to employee issues including disciplinary cases, grievances, dismissals, poor performance, managing ill and injured employees, discrimination and equal opportunity claims. They advise on business change activity, including consultation with Unite, communications with key stakeholders (including employees, business leaders and Unite), and the practical implementation of business change in accordance with policy/law.

Policy & Planning
The Policy team deals with the review, implementation and governance of HR policy and process, HR Risk, compliance and diversity and inclusion.

M.I. (Management Information)
The HR MI Team enhances and delivers quality Management Information and Analysis for HR and the business. This includes weekly reporting on headcount, contractors, resourcing and monthly HR scorecards.

Resourcing
The Resourcing team works in partnership with the business by attracting, selecting and recruiting 'A' players to enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Providing advice on appropriate recruitment / attraction channels to recruit 'A' players.
  • Facilitating identification and engagement strategy with vendors.
  • Providing support and advice throughout the recruitment selection process.
  • Managing and advising on Resourcing governance and control.
  • Providing generalist support relationships with business functions.
